Innovator vs Entrepreneurship. Professor vs Former Student. New Economy vs Really New Economy. Call it what you want but rest assured May's Battle of the Bartenders will be a knock down drag out bout not soon forgotten.
Why? Because we're putting Dr. Timothy Stearns (Professor and Executive Director of the Lyles Center) and Ashley Swearengin (Chief Operating Officer of the Regional Jobs Initiative and mayoral candidate) behind the bar. These are two very passionate people. Passionate about Fresno. Passionate about entrepreneurship and the 21st century economy. Passionate about kicking each other's COCKTAIL!!
Who will be the winner? Only you can decide and you do that with your CASH (or checks made payable to Creative Fresno) tips. Bartender at the end of the evening with the most money in the tip jar is the winner.
All proceeds from the evening will go to Creative Fresno's mural fund so you're having fun for a good cause! What could be better? How about this, Creative Fresno is a 501c3 non-profit so all your donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law!
Battle of the Bartenders is Creative Fresno's funding vehicle allowing us to bring together the talent and other resources necessary to create artistic murals in downtown Fresno and the community at large.
